Dr. Teresa Eaton

Chair

Dr. Teresa Eaton is an Associate Professor at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. She holds four chemistry degrees specializing in biochemistry (2009), physical chemistry (2012), and inorganic chemistry (2014, 2016). After her doctoral work, she pursued a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where she focused on bonding and chemical properties of radioactive elements, using innovative solid-state materials and gas-phase complexes. Currently, she supervises undergraduate students in forensic analysis of trace evidence. Dr. Eaton has been a Central Arizona American Chemical Society (CAZACS) member since 2017. She actively contributed to the planning committee from 2019 to 2020 and has held an executive board position since 2020. Her passion lies in scientific outreach and community service, especially in encouraging underrepresented youth to pursue STEM interests.
